Is there a location on Earth where I can see the most stars?

There’s no single place to observe the night sky but there are ideal locations

The best places to stargaze on Earth are those furthest away from sources of light pollution. There is no single best place to observe the night sky – you simply need to move away from places like towns and cities where street and building lights can diminish the view. Just heading to the outskirts of town or taking a short trip into the countryside can reveal much more of the sky than you can usually see from a light-polluted region. Some of the best places to see the night sky are known as dark sky sites – with many of these dotted around the world, you can feast your eyes on a variety of objects under a preserved night sky.
