This is the way the world could end: Voyager 1’s stunning view of our Sun’s demise
Sure, this isn’t the most scientifically accurate video ever made, but it’s still an awesome look at how our Sun could die and take the Earth with it.
This gorgeous video was put together by director Mischa Rozema and production studio PostPanic. It shows the latter stages of the Sun’s life, when it will expand to a red giant and consume the Earth, from the perspective of the Voyager 1 spacecraft.
Of course, by the time the Sun actually expands to a red giant in several billion years time, Voyager 1 will be long gone from the Solar System, but it’s still a great video representation of our Sun’s death nonetheless.
