Video: Mind-blowing montage of Jupiter and Saturn
Get ready to pick your jaw up off the floor. This awesome video stitches together NASA imagery of two of our Solar System’s gas giants to produce a simply astounding spectacle.
This incredible video, named “Outer Space” by its creator Sander van den Berg, is a cosmic montage of real-life NASA photos of the Saturn and Jupiter systems. It uses images taken by both the Voyager and Cassini spacecraft from their missions through the Solar System.
In the amazing video you can see the rings of the two largest planets in our Solar System as you’ve never seen them before, with the almost video-like montage of images giving an extraordinary sense of perspective on these massive planets. Around the 46 second mark you can also see amazing footage of geysers on Saturn’s moon Enceladus, which we’ve covered extensively in All About Space issue one (on sale 28 June).
